I didnt see the scenery in the package?  Where is it?
Answer:  You must go into your Addon Scenery Library in Prepar3D or FSX and 'activate' the folder

Question:  I purchased the Piper Super Super Pack and installed it but it doesnt show up in my Flight
Sim.  Why?
Answer:  The installer may have missed finding the Registry location of FSX or Prepar3D.  You might
have it on a separate drive and it might be hidden for some odd reason.  If this is the case, note the
actual location, run the installer again, and this time, manually set the location of the target install via the
small Browse button.  Then click OK and let it continue, loading the package into the main FS folder.

Question:  If the Piper Pacer Super Pack goes into a next build series up, such as 2.0 or 3.0, do I need
to purchase the package all over again?
Answer:  No.  You are entitled to all factory updates, being an owner of the package.  See your vendor
for details and request the update 'if' the update is a full 'complete installer' version update.  (Some
mini-updates will be available, here only at Lionheart Creations.  Vendors will not carry the mini-updates
on a normal basis).

Question:  Will this plane work in FS2004?  Is this a FS2004 version model or pure FSX?
Answer:  No.  :(  This is a pure FSX / Prepar3D only model, featuring dual VC and exterior models in
FSX SDK formats.  This will '
not' work in FS2004, unfortunately.  I tried all that I could to make this work
in FS2004.

Question:  Is this available in other locations other then Lionheart Creations Ltd?
Answer:  Yes.  We sell through the famous Euro outlet, which also feature a backup CD
service for a small fee.

Question:  Will this work on a slow computer?  What are the requirements?
Answer:  Yes.  The Piper Pacer Super Pack is 'not' a super complex package, though the exterior 3
textures 'are' in 2048 sized textures.   The rest, however, are only 1024 sized DDS textures.

Question:  Will there be a paint kit for the Piper Pacer Super Pack?
Answer:  Yes.  Again, as soon as we can, we will have the paint kit uploaded.  This will be in Adobe
Photoshop PSD layered format.

Question:  What is in this package?
Answer:  The Piper Pacer Super Pack features 4 versions of landing gear; Classic, Tri-Pacer, Floats, and
extreme terrain Bush / Tundra.  There are also 3 variations of instrument panels from Classic to Tri-Pacer
era to modernized Carbon Fiber high tech Bush refitted panel.  There is a scenery pack also which must
be activated in the Addon Scenery Library in your Sim.

Question:  Does this feature its own Soundpack or does it use a stock Soundpack?
Answer: Yes and no.  We use the brilliant Maule soundpack for this package.  The Maule has the best
choice for engine and prop sounds, we believe.  We also have installed in this package the newest version
of the LHC sound package which now has the sound library buit into the aircrafts folder, so you will have
effects and click sounds as well.

Question:  I have a huge part sticking out of the top of my plane?  What is that?
Answer:  Sounds like your FSX simulator is missing its FSX SP1 and SP2 udpates.  You must not have
the FSX SP1 Service Pack installed.  Sometimes you must also install the SP2 as well.  If you have already
installed the SP1 and its still not working, then reload it from the website on the
Downloads page.

Question:  When I boot up my plane, its all black.  Why?
Answer:  Reboot your computer after first installing the package.  If you have been flying for a while
and parts 'turn' black, then your Sim memory is maxed out in resources from high settings.  Please lower
your settings.  To test this, turn off your clouds and your AA setting in Display.  When first installing your
plane, you may need to reboot if you have Win7 OS64 and vista OS64. Rebooting allows it to see the
textures.  This is rare, but happens now and then.

Question:  My aircraft shows up, but my gauges arent showing.  Why?
Answer:  The installer at times will place the Gauges CAB file in the 'stock' location, C: drive.  The nearly
never happens.  You can run the installer to a TEMP folder on your desktop, using the browse button
before file uploads begin.  After it finishes, look in your gauges folder in there, locate the CAB files and
drop those in the Gauges folder in FSX.

Question:  Will flying this plane for over 10 hours at a time cause bags under my eyes, double vision,
and other such side effects?  Or have you figured out gaming codes and other such enhancements that
will enable me to fly this thing continuously around the clock?
Answer:  No....    It will still wear you out and cause double vision and blood shot eyes from extreme
over-time flying.  We suggest you take breaks.  Go outside, see the sun, listen to the birds, play in the
rain, then get right back into your Pipers and fly some more.  :)  (Thats how I do it).

Question:  My plane will not start from a cold and dark saved flight from 'another plane'?  Why?
Answer:  You 'must' use your own plane to save 'cold and dark flights'.  This is because the Pacers will
not have all the 'off/on buttons and levers' that other planes have.  For instance, the Pacers have no
Battery switches, no fuel cut-offs, no firewall battery kill levers, etc, etc.  So, you must get into a Pacer
from a running state, go to your location choice, with weather and time set, turn everything off, then
'save' at that point in your Pacer.  This will insure you can restart it later.  ;)   (Remember this as many
people make this mistake and think their plane is faulty when in actuality it cant start because you are
using another planes save point with different switches and things which do not carry over to the next
No updates are required.  All installers have the latest build of Piper Pacer.

mud and shading and dirt and highlights in separate layers which
are tuneable and enable the artist to place paint schemes under
these layers and modify settings to hide, lessen, increase various

In the paint kit will be 2 versions of paint schemes; one that is

which will have bugs and mud and dirt, etc, which you can still
turn off the layers of such effects if you like.  Makes things

Super Clear Interior Plexi

If you fly alot of VFR and the tinting and interior reflections are a
bother for you, no worries.  Adding this small file to your 'texture'
folder will increase your visibility and make the interior glass almost
totally transparent.

This kit will improve the glass visibility in the cockpit and instrument
faces.  This takes away the visible seam in the front center of the
perspex and cleans up the gauges, also adding a nice 'blue-ish' tint to
them instead of the older, former smudge look.  Simple installation,
drop in and go.

Existing bugs in the present package.
We have found that FSX had issues with some of the controls in the cockpits of the Pacers
packages and variants.  The Starter switch and Fuel selector (selecting Right tank only), are
fixed.  But the Carb Heat still has an issue.  Also, fictional panel vent knobs on left and right
sides of the two classic panels (Tri-Pacer and Classic Orginal) are not animating in FSX.  All of
these always functioned properly in Prepar3D, so finding out why they do not function is the
mystery.  The package was created with the FSX SDK, which means if anything they should be
working fine in FSX.  We'll let you know if we have these bugs updated and pulverized.

If you would like to switch out a panel in a plane you want, you can easily do this with a bit of
copy/pasting and editing of the Registry blocks of the 'aircraft.cfg' file.

First, open a aircraft.cfg file with Windows Notepad.  Create a new Registry block (by
copy/pasting an original block) and adding it as the next level down, (or modify an existing
Registry block of the plane you wish to change out the panel of.  Make sure that a new
Registry block has a new number order assignment, so that it isnt out of order or it will not
show up.

Next, change the panel and model to match.  Panel=New and Model=New, (New is
Tri-Pacer), and Classi with Classic, and Bush with Bush.  You must have matching models with
panels or it will be a mess when you finish.  This is done in the Registry block.

Here is a typical Registry.

title=Piper Pacer PA-20-180 1   <<  CHANGE THIS TO NEXT UP
texture=Cream and Burgandy
kb_reference=Piper PA-20-180_ref
ui_type="Pacer 180"
ui_variation="180 Cream and Burgandy"
ui_typerole="Single Engine Prop"
ui_createdby="Lionheart Creations"

Next...  You 'must' copy/paste in a 'matching set of panel textures' from another plane that
has the panel you wish to use.  To do this, find the plane that has the panel you want, then go
into its panel texture folder (such as Blue Stripe), and find all 5 of the panel textures there.
Copy those and paste them into the new folder of textures you are converting.

Boot up the simulator and check your work.   You 'cannot' do this on the fly with FS or P3
running.  It will not show up.  You must reboot the sim to see changes made to models and
texture assignments.

The Bush plane uses a different panel texture that is carbon fiber.  So you need that to make
a plane have the nice 'Bush' high tech update.

It is very wise to backup your aircraft.cfg file 'first' before attempting this so you can
backtrack if needed.
