An experimental excercise into the future of general aviation and the new forms of propulsion systems of tomorrow.
It is the year 2019, years into the
future.  The world is coming into
a new time of manufacturing and
new technologies.  The electric
propulsion and battery industries
have taken off immensely,
revolutionizing the world of
transportation as we know it.

Your destiny in the world of
tomorrows aviation begins now
in the year 2019!

Why does the propeller stop turning at idle and the motor shut off?
Answer: This is an electric powered aircraft.  Electric motors do not need to idle.  They
simply shut down.  To bring the motor to life, you simply raise the throttle and the motor
smoothly starts running again.  :)

Question: How do I turn on the instrumentation lights in FSX?
Answer:  Switch on your NAV lights and the instrumentation screens will illuminate.  Its
designed just as a car, switching on your lights also turns on your instrumentation lights.
To turn on the dome light, click on the overhead Map Lights and Map Light Buttons.

Question: Can I print the PDF Manual?
Answer:  You 'could' but it will take a tremendous amount of ink.  The manual has a huge
amount of color including black backgrounds.  It is best viewed on a computer screen or

Question:  Does the Avelina come with a 2D Panel?
Answer:  No, the Avelina is our first release that will not have a 2D panel shipping with
it.  The Avelina does have a panel graphics that is shipped with the package for one to easily
make a 2D panel for their flight simulator setup, with the proper width that it needs to be,
but no, there is no 2D panel that ships with the package.  The reason is, that many people
with very wide monitors, and with multi monitor systems, that scan through views were
finding that PFD and MFD screens would either bring their simulators down to very low
speeds, or it would crash their simulators in flight. The issue is that some 'very high end'
exotic graphics cards cannot 'render' a PFD or MFD gauge screen 'squashed' or stretched, and
that will cause the crash.  Thus we had to realise that just too many people have too many
systems that cannot run basic, old fashioned 2D panels anymore.

We do hope to offer a basic 2D panel as a free download that you can drop into the panel
folder and have a 2D panel, but this will 'only' work with regular systems.  Exotic systems will
require their owners to create 'custom' width 2D panels that will enable their systems to run
them for panel views.  We apologise for not being able to cator to 'all' system owners.

Question:  I purchased the Avelina and installed it but it doesnt show up in my Flight Sim.
Answer:  You may have a Windows OS-64bit which has the Program Folder renamed to
'Program Files (64)'.  Simply run the installer again, and this time, before it uploads the files
into your computer, check the location of your Flight Simulator installation.  If its not correct,
then click the small Browse button beside the address string and navigate to your FSX folder,
then click OK to start uploading the package.

This may be necessary also with some 'external hard drives' where FSX is located on a drive
other then C drive.  This does not happen with all installations, only some.

Question:  If the Avelina goes into a next build series up, such as 2.0 or 3.0, do I need to
purchase the package all over again?
Answer:  No.  You are entitled to all factory updates, being an owner of the package.  See
your vendor for details and request the update 'if' the update is a full 'complete installer'
version update.  (Some mini-updates will be available, here only at Lionheart Creations.
Vendors will not carry the mini-updates on a normal basis).

Question:  Is this available in other locations other then Lionheart Creations Ltd?
Answer:  Yes.  We sell through who feature a backup CD service for a small
fee, and the store in Australia, and

Question:  Will this work on a slow computer?  What are the requirements?
Answer:  The Avelina package is an elaborate, high detail package.  If you presently cannot
run various aircraft that come with a lot of 32bit high resolution textures, then you will need
the 'High Performance' texture pack for this airplane package.  This will enable slow
computers to run this package.

As for textures, which also cost heavily in Flight Simulator X, we used 'no' 32bit textures.
When high resolution was required, such as the fuselage texture sheet, we went with double
size 2048 pixels in DXT-5 format (standard) so that Graphics Cards could manage them
easily.  Not all of the textures are double size, many are still standard 1024 and 512 pixels
square in size.

Thus your 'regular computer' should be able to run the Avelina Elektra under normal
circumstances.  With that said, if you have your settings maxed out already, then you may
have trouble with the Avelina and you will need to reduce one or two settings to enable
smooth frame rates, 'if' you are already maxed out in resources, (meaning barely running
with low frame rates).

Question:  Do you offer a Backup CD service?
Answer:  Yes, at SimMarket, they produce CD backups which can be mailed to you.
Check with SimMarket's website to see pricing of this option.

Question:  Will there be a textures performance pack for people that have older, slower
Answer:  Yes.  We will be releasing a performance pack in the near future as soon as we

Question:  Will there be a paint kit for the Avelina package?
Answer:  Yes.  Again, as soon as we can, we will have the paint kit uploaded.  This will be
in Adobe Photoshop PSD layered format.

Question:  Does this feature its own Soundpack or does it use a stock Soundpack?
Answer:  The Avelina Elektra features its own sound package.

Question:  I have a huge part sticking out of the top of my plane?  What is that?
Answer:  You must not have the FSX SP1 Service Pack installed.  If you do, you may need
to re-install it.  Make sure that your UAC in your Windows is adjusted to allow you to install
this and modify the FSX installation.  Some report that their UAC security systems in vista
and Win7 will sometimes block you from the update process.  You can download the FSX
SP1 and SP2 update service packs for FSX at

Question:  When I boot up my plane, its all black.  Why?
Answer:  It sounds like your FSX installation is maxed out in resources from high settings.
Please lower your settings.  To test this, turn off your clouds and your AA setting in Display.
When first installing your plane, you may need to reboot if you have Win7 OS64 and vista
OS64. Rebooting allows it to see the textures.  This is rare, but happens now and then.

Question:  My aircraft shows up, but my gauges arent showing.  Why?
Answer:  The installer at times will place the Gauges CAB file in the 'stock' location, C:
drive.  If you have your Sim in a different location then usual, such as OS64 Program Files
(64) or in another drive (or both of the above), then simply track down where the installer
placed your LHC_AVE.CAB file and drop it into your main Gauges folder in FSX.  You can
also run the installer to a TEMP folder on your desktop, using the browse button before file
uploads begin.  After it finishes, look in your gauges folder in there, locate the CAN file and
drop that in the Gauges folder in FSX.

You may also need the FSX SP1 update.  This is another failure when your FSX Installation
doesnt have the SP1 update pack.

Question:  Will flying this plane for over 10 hours at a time cause bags under my eyes,
double vision, and other such side effects?  Or have you figured out gaming codes and other
such enhancements that will enable me to fly this thing continuously around the clock?
Answer:  No....    It will still wear you out and cause double vision and blood shot eyes
from extreme over-time flying.  We suggest you take breaks.  Go outside, see the sun, listen
to the birds, play in the rain, then get right back into your craft and fly some more.  :)
(Thats how I do it).

Question:  Where is the Checklist?
Answer:  It is built into the Info-Center Kiosk.  Click on CHK LIST and use PAGE DN and
PAGE UP buttons (small menu buttons along bottom of the Info screen) to scroll through the
various pages.

Question:  I see that the Avelina has Radio music.  Can I set my own music in this?
Answer:  Yes.  Just make 16bit WAV file copies of your fave songs with a music compiler
and save them as SND20 through SND26.  Drop those into your PanelSounds folder in the
aircrafts Panel folder in the main FSX Sound folder.  In the plane, with batteries on, click the
Radio Stations and paruse through your music.  Remember, right click to turn off a station.

An extremely expansive manual (jam
packed full of screenshots) is available
free for people that want to see and read
more on this wild aircraft of tomorrow.
This manual is in PDF format.
Looking more like a Reno air racer rather then a family plane, this sleek design is totally new.  Note the radical cowling shape, the fluid lines
of a highly aerodynamic vehicle, the wide wingspan of flexible, high glide ratio wings designed for low drag and high atmosphere flight, and
the large front and rear windscreens that help to make VFR flying more manageable.

The Avelina package features 7 paint scheme packages that are more like 'themes', from Arctic White, to Azure deep Metallic blue, to
Stockholm Yellow to the sleek Stuttgart Red.  Some features include flexing composite wings that move with G-loads and wind gusts,
deployable 'parking mode' with optional luggage loadout, and 3 sets of pilots; male only, female only, and couple.
With each variant color theme package includes an interior to match it.  Wood trim,
(elaboarate burled wood veneer), ranges from dark walnut to bright cherrywood, to
a stained yellow wood for the Stockholm Yellow pack.  Leather colors include black
on black, cream on dark khaki, to white on navy blue, as well as connolly tan on
The panel system of the Avelina is the most exciting part of the aircraft, filled with features and functions, options
and opening nooks and animated components such as the steering colum (which can also be hidden) and the
forward sun visors.  An emergency popup 'auxilary' instruments pod is located in the top center of the dash, and a
small, rectangular HUD display arises from the far forward center of the dash, featuring readouts from time to
altitude, speed and temp.

Another cool feature for this futuristic plane of tomorrow is 'changeable' primary screen 'background themes'.
Digital art and graphics fill the main pilots flight screen, and in the settings center, you can switch through 7
different backgrounds.  This was my thought, that a plane of tomorrow, even cars, would be able to download new
panel themes with such elaborate screen systems.
This is from the built in checklist system in the 'Info Center' Kiosk.
The paint kit is in PSD format, created in
Adobe Photoshop 6.0 in layers with many
of the layers being in detailed
separations, enabling faster creation of
texture packs as well as 'tuning' of opacity
in shading and highlight zones.
This is a new video that is both a tutorial and
walk through of all the various features.  This
is comprehensive and over 30 min's long.

This appears to be a compiler bug and was 'not' able to be repaired.  This will be rectified
when a fix to the issue is resolved.

This animation was cancelled.  The mouse over still shows up, but the animation was taken

We tried to get the emergency gear manual crank system to work in FSX, but all failed.  If we
figure out how to get it working for FSX, we will update it.  For now, it is missing in the FSX
model package.  FS2004 users still have it.  No update for this issue.

Let us know if you think you have found a bug and we will put effort to make
things right.  Let us know your purchase date and sim version you have and a
detailed feedback of the issue.
Please wait as the graphics intense page loads.
